I'm sure you've heard this one: "throw enough mud on the wall, something will stick".  That is like walking through a minefield "blind-folded" which is where we are today.  More network marketing wanna-be's walking dangerously around a minefield with a blind-fold on because their sponsor hasn't a clue how to take that blind-fold off.

Don't worry, a lot of us have been there and done that.  Fortunately we have found leadership, mentors and created a system that has helped us become successful. It doesn't happen overnight, but if you take it one step at a time, you can succeed in this great industry.

Some of the more popular generic network marketing business systems you will see on the internet include:  Magnetic Sponsoring, Renegade University, and Leaders Club are all geared toward helping you navigate those minefields.  Which one is better?

Ask 10 network marketing professionals using each system respectfully and you'll get 30 different answers.  Most of them will say: "I was desperate, I found their site, purchased the product, follow their advice and started to see success".

You see, magnetic sponsoring, renegade university, leaders club and others I have missed are all good.  It's timing, vocabulary, readiness and willingness to buy into that philosophy that makes the difference.  I have several friends in the affilate world who all swear by someone's methods.  They all work, but each person is "attracted" to someone for different reasons.  Same for network marketing.

As you study, stumble and make notes, soon you will find a philosophy or system that really is YOU.  When that happens the light bulb or Ah Hah moment occurs and you are off to the races.  Don't be surprised if it takes a while to get to this point.  Some people are faster than others when it gets to this moment.  My only advice is to keep learning.

If you ask 20 different networkers how they generate leads, all of them will probably say something along the lines of:

• I purchase network marketing leads
• I generate my own leads by using Magnetic Sponsoring
• I get a ton of leads from squidoo
• I use hubpage for my lead generation
• Video's is the only way to go
• I make websites and hope the search engines pick me up
• PPC is the only way to do business online
• and the list will go on and on and on

There are so many business opportunities in the network industry you are bound to find something that fits your needs.  The longer you stay in network marketing you'll discover the majority of younger folks want MONEY and they will join any company, promote the hell out of it because they are making money, not that they truly believe in the products.

Others join network marketing on emotions.  This product helped my neighbor do (fill in the blank) and I BELIEVE in this product.  Some simply need an extra $200 a month and they'll walk on water to get it.

My advice is to stop, look and listen.  Sound familiar?

The best network marketing advice I can give you is this:

• look for a leader who fits your style
• look for products that you truly believe in
• get educated first before you jump
• don't be afraid to try the products for several months before you "really join"
• get educated on how to sponsor, recruit, train and especially
• learn how to market/advertise before you jump into Network Marketing

In order to make money in network marketing you have to purchase product to activate your compensation plan. The monthly autoship program is great and I truly believe in it, however far to many network wanna-bee's join a business without enough cash flow. That monthly autoship is a killer and will stop more distributors in their tracks that help. Wouldn't it be wise to learn network marketing from a funded proposal stand point?

I personally believe a network marketing funded proposal is the first step in any network marketers career.  No we didn't have it 10 years ago and we barely had it 5 years ago. However, we have it NOW and it should be incorporated immeidately upon signing up a new rep. Forget your backend primary business, think of your brand spanking new distributor, help them get off to a fast start, teach them how to generate their own leads and I bet you'll be much further ahead in a year.  Using your old model has proven unsuccessful or you wouldn't be reading this now, correct?
