Building your own lead list: are you sick and tired of hearing that yet?

Well, if you want to get into the "main stream" of network marketing you better start sitting up and doing something about it. Network Marketing distributors that are constantly on top of the leader boards know something you don't. Maybe you do know but are afraid to do it because it's not the "main stream" methods of your upline leaders.

Let's put to you this way. I was in a one on one coaching session recently with a distributor who was fed up and wanting desperately to work with a mentor. She told me she had at one time thousands of leads she worked via email and then threw them away. Everyone who had responded to her email sales pitches entered into their follow up systems on the lead capture page. When she quit the company she lost contact with those leads.

I asked her how many people she had on that lead list. She estimated around 450-500 leads taking a look at her system. She had started to build her own lead list, but she lost it and now has to start over.

Had she downloaded or exported her leads she wouldn't be in such a bind. Having to start building your own lead list all over again sucks, bad.

If you are new to online network marketing "then do yourself a favor and learn how to generate your own leads. You can buy mlm leads, you can buy network marketing leads, you can use PPC, you can use articles, you can use traffic exchanges, you can use the tube, and you can use all those social networks or whatever, but please start building your own lead list. Why?

If you promote a generic program, support those who purchase that generic program, and nuture that list you built, when the opportunity arises (which it will) you can send a simple email to your lists and probably sponsor 1 out of 10 members on that list. Don't quote those numbers because it will take time to build a trusting relationship with your list, but the minute you do........

You've gotta attach yourself to a mentor. Trying to do this along is just plain NUTS. Find a generic business that is affordable and then search for a mentor who will stay patient and answer your questions and guide you down the path to success to generating your own lead list.

Stay focused on what you are doing. The internet is all about "Interruption Marketing". Just look to your left and tell me how hard it is to concentrate on this paragraph?

I hat to admit it, but I get so easily distracted when I first get online because my first goal of the day is to answer emails. When you have to read the subject lines of 300 emails in the morning, looking for those who are seeking help, you do get distracted.

Today, my primary goal is to do something that will help me get more names on my own lead list. For me writing is what I do. Articles in particular.

After I write my articles, I send them via article submitter. While that is running in the background, I do several other things to help me get one way links to my websites. When finished I am ready for my coaching sessions.

Bottom Line: Stay Focused on your daily tasks and you will save yourself, time money and frustration.
